At Fysico Rotterdam we do our utmost to provide you with the best possible care. All our staff meet the requirements of the KNGF (Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy). However, if you are not satisfied with your treatment or with the way your physiotherapist has treated you, we would like to hear about it. It is important to report your complaint, and there are several ways to do so. (This English translation is provided for convenience; in case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.)<\/p>\n

Discuss your complaint with the physiotherapist<\/h2>\n

You can discuss your concerns directly with your treating physiotherapist(s) or the practice owner(s). If you feel uncomfortable doing this alone, you can bring someone along to support you during the conversation. Problems can often be resolved quickly and effectively through a conversation. You can also submit your complaint in writing via info@fysicorotterdam.nl<\/a>. We will confirm receipt and send you a written response within six weeks. If we need more time, we will let you know in advance.<\/p>\n

For advice on how to approach the conversation, you can contact patient organisations such as Zorgbelang<\/a>. At Zorgbelang<\/a> you can also report a problem without immediately filing an official complaint.<\/p>\n

Where can you go with your complaint?<\/h2>\n

If you don't feel comfortable talking directly to your physiotherapist or the practice owner(s), you can submit your complaint to the Complaints and Disputes Committee of the Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy (KNGF). Fysico Rotterdam is affiliated with this committee.<\/p>\n

You can also call a KNGF complaints officer for advice and support in submitting a complaint. You can reach them on 033 467 29 00<\/a> (Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:00) or email klachtenregeling@kngf.nl<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to the KNGF complaints committee, you can also turn to the government's regional Disciplinary Board for Healthcare. More information can be found at www.tuchtcollege-gezondheidszorg.nl<\/a>.<\/p>\n
